The Big Horn Motel is pet friendly, safe and centrally located in Historic downtown Buffalo, WY complete with shopping and wonderful murals. The Museum is just 1.5 blocks South on Main St. Clear Creek out back, is convenient and lovely for a quick walk for you and your pet. The Buffalo Golf Course is only a few Blocks to the South West. The Pool at our lovely park is just 5 Blocks to the South West and multiple restaurants are located in all directions.

Not only is the Big Horn Motel located in the heart of Buffalo, WY, but Buffalo is also in the heart of the most beautiful part of Wyoming between Yellowstone Park and Mount Rushmore, SD.
About Us
The Big Horn Motel owners/operators are Wyoming born natives that migrated North from Laramie to settle in Buffalo in 1990. The Schoonovers' bought the Big Horn Motel in 2003 and have been happy here ever since.

Thanks to the multitudes of interesting folks, we live vicariously through their adventures and have made many friends in the process of our story sharing.
The original Big Horn Motel was built in the 30's when a "Motor Lodge" was first becoming popular. The Big Horn Motel has seen multiple additions and upgrades since, while maintaining the original charm.

Our Rooms
Come visit us at the Big Horn Motel and check out our clean, quaint, comfortable rooms.
If you need a pet friendly option, call for availability. $25 Per Pet, Per Night Fee.
Each room is personally decorated with original Art. There are Microwaves, refrigerators, coffee, and hairdryers in every room. All have private baths and exterior entrances. Most rooms have parking directly in front of their room.
